The first section is called Building Blocks and lists the following data: $12 billion spent on construction and maintenance since 2003. 650 new schools funded. 625 additions and renovations. An estimated $330,000 spent on computers, furnishings, materials and equipment for St. Benedict Catholic ES in Milton.
The next section is titled, Old School and says, "Schools on Canada's historic places." The following locations are listed: Lisgar CI, Ottawa. Galt CI, Cambridge. Stuare Scott PS, Newmarket. King George PSI, Newmarket. Kingston CVI, founded in 1792, is the oldest public secondary school.
The next section is titled, School Yards (and metres) and lists the following data: 23 million square metres is the combined size of all public schools in Ontario. The smallest school is Smooth Rocks Falls PS in Smooth Rocks Falls at 242 metres squared. The biggest school is Central Technical School in Toronto as 55,080 metres squared.
The final section is titled, Going Green and lists the following data: from 2003 to 2004 there were 13 schools certified for ecological literacy and environmental practices. From 2008 to 2009 there were 906 schools certified. From 2013 to 2014 there were 1,745 schools certified.
