Have a Safe Trip

• Obtain signed release forms and contact info for each student.
• Assess whether an activity is appropriate for the group.
• Count heads accurately and often.
• Discuss appropriate behaviour and safety procedures with students beforehand.
• Know your student's medical needs and any accommodations required.
• Advise parents of what children should bring, wear, etc.
• Monitor, modify or stop an activity you think is unsafe.
