Cause Canada

Cause Canada was founded over 25 years ago by Paul and Beverley Carrick. This July the organization will again undertake a 13-day educators’ trip to Sierra Leone – Building Bridges Sierra.

Building Bridges, like other Cause projects, is designed to create a professional learning community of Canadian and Sierra Leonean elementary educators – a community that will encourage dialogue, foster professional development and create a supportive environment for global collaboration.

The work is intended to contribute, through a strong commitment in Sierra Leone, to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals, especially universal primary education and access to education for girls.
