council members

If you decide to stand for election to the Council you will have to include, as part of your nomination papers, a signed statement that you are eligible for the position and that the information in your nomination papers is accurate.

Your attestation must state that you are prepared to take the oath of office, and whether or not you are an employee or an elected or appointed official of one of the 13 organizations listed.

If you are, you must affirm that you are prepared to resign from any such position, held at the local or provincial level, and obtain the necessary employment before taking office as a member of the Council.
