Summary – December 9–10, 2010
At its December 9–10 meeting, College Council:
- approved the 2011 budget with a forecast of $31,979,000 in revenues and $31,914,714 in projected operating expenses, representing a one-per-cent increase in operational costs over those in 2010; capital expenditures will be held to $250,000 in 2011
- asked the Nomination Committee to investigate options for appointing committee chairs and report back to the March 31 – April 1, 2011 Council meeting
- recommended that the Registrar research establishing two new scholarships or awards valued at $2,000 each to be offered by the College annually.
