Accreditation

Intermediate/Senior addition at Laurentian University

The Accreditation Committee has granted initial accreditation with conditions to the consecutive program with concentrations in the Intermediate/Senior divisions offered by Laurentian University and leading to a Bachelor of Education degree.

The conditions require that the dean of the faculty of education provide a finalized conceptual framework, course outlines, an assessment of achievement and evidence that appropriately qualified faculty and instructors have been hired for the program, as well as submitting a plan and timeline within six months for satisfying the conditions.

The initial accreditation with conditions runs to June 14, 2012 or until the second class of teacher candidates enrolled in the program graduates (not to exceed June 14, 2013).
