French for the Future

"Go for it. Take a chance. Don't be afraid to make mistakes when you're speaking French. The important thing is to speak and to make yourself understood."

Those were a few of the inspirational words College Registrar Michael Salvatori, OCT, delivered in his 14th Local Annual French for the Future Forum keynote address. Some 250 students studying French as a Second Language attended the event at Glendon College in April.

French for the Future is a not-for-profit organization that promotes bilingualism in Canada and the benefits students in Grades 7 to 12 will gain from communicating in French.
