Partnership
TFO and parents partner up
TFO, Ontario’s French-language television network, and Canadian Parents for French (CPF) recently entered into a partnership aimed at increasing the number of students of French as a Second Language who watch TV shows in French and use French-language educational products and services.
As well, the goal is to promote both organizations and the services they offer to students, parents, educators and the public to increase the number of francophile Ontarians and encourage bilingualism.
CPF is a national network of about 25,000 members devoted to learning French as a Second Language. TFO has a wide array of resources for students learning French. Many teachers are already using them.
TFO’s web site offers educational games that support and promote literacy.
