Laurentian (English), UOIT and Trent Accredited

The Accreditation Committee, in accordance with Regulation 347/02, Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs, passed three motions concerning accreditation of teacher training programs.

Initial accreditation was granted on April 24, 2003 to:

  • the proposed concurrent Primary/Junior and Junior/Intermediate program of professional education (English) at Laurentian University, for a period of four years or until the graduation of the second class
    of students enrolled in the program, whichever is the longer, not to exceed six years;
  • the proposed consecutive Intermediate/Senior program of professional education at the University
    of Ontario Institute of Technology for a period of two years;
  • the proposed consecutive Primary/Junior and Intermediate/Senior program of professional education
    at Trent University for a period of two years.
