Teachers from across the province gathered at the second Sharing the Learning Summit in November to discuss their project findings from the 2009–10 Teacher Learning and Leadership Program (TLLP).
The Ontario Teachers’ Federation and the Ministry of Education co-sponsor the TLLP by providing release-time funding for teachers involved in the program.
All TLLP projects include a collegial component. Some teachers conduct workshops or meetings through their own schools; others present at provincial conferences. Some projects involve several schools.
To help share learning throughout the province, the Ministry has established a public online archive of completed TLLP projects.
Visitors to the online archive can search by any of the following 12 themes:
- Arts
- Core and Immersion French
- Differentiated Instruction
- Gender-Based Learning
- Literacy
- Mathematical Literacy
- Media Literacy
- Professional Learning Communities
- Student Assessment
- Student Success/Transition Years
- Students with Special Needs
- Technology
The online archive also allows searches by keyword (for example, “kindergarten” or “boys”) or by school board.
