New French-language journal
Laurentian University is filling a huge gap in French publications by launching Enfance en difficulté, a new French-language journal devoted entirely to diverse disciplines in the field of Special Education. The scholarly journal will tackle topics such as learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder and behavioural problems.
Like other provinces, Ontario has adopted policies integrating children identified as “exceptional” to give everyone a chance to succeed.
The articles published in Enfance en difficulté will come from Canada and other French-speaking countries. The first issue is expected in early 2011.
